  • Of course some books believe it or not are for reading and do not lend themselves to other types of media such as the 8mm Screen (or 16 come to that). It is a shame because books like The Rats, King Lear, Chaucer would clearly make diabolical films.

  • Not quite so. We rationalise and justify our guilt as a way of dealing with out guilt. Sometimes, it is a way of 'playing out' a scenario in detail or slow motion in order to combat the awful physical feeling one suffers when we think we have done something wrong.
